 Yellow & Black Adhesive Remover

Twin-Chem AGR is a VOC COMPLIANT biodegradable, environmentally friendly, soy-based product designed to remove most carpet adhesives, glues, as well as most linoleum adhesives. This product will remove yellow & black glue, as well was cut-back black asphaltic.

1. Read and understand the safety data sheet (SDS) when using this product.
2. Prepare a safe work area by protecting walls, drains, carpeting, cracks, woodwork and any other surface that may come in contact with the adhesive remover. Set up decontamination chambers and a negative air system if needed.
3. Remove floor tile, carpet, carpet tile or linoleum according to local and federal regulations.
4. Use a full strength do not dilute.  Appy to the defined areas, either manually or with a pump spray to small areas. Once adhesive or glue has been cut, take up as quickly as possible to prevent excessive penetration into the substrate.
5. Allow as much time as possible to allow AGR to penetrate and soften the adhesive or glue, usually within 1 hour.  Longer soak times may be needed for some types of glue and adhesives, up to 2-3 hours.
6.Work in the product with a stiff bristled broom or brush, floor buffer or other types of floor scrubber.  To take up a variety of methods may be used such as an auto scrubber or stiff bristled brush, squeegee or wet vacuum.  You may need to use scrapers to scrape adhesives from the substrate.

7. Once the adhesive slurry has been cleaned up, use water and a slab cleaner to aggressively clean the surface.  All liquified slurry and waste should be properly disposed of according to State and Federal regulations.  Be sure not to allow AGR to come into contact with any areas that may absorb the liquid such as drywall, woodwork etc, and drains.  Cover and dike these areas.
8. Twin Chemicals AGR and all slurry should be cleaned up and the surface should be dry, before polishing, grinding or staining.  Ample time should be allowed before applying mastics or adhesives to ensure all volatiles have evaporated.
