Alpha Shield™ Heavy Duty floor protection sheets
Temporary floor protection sheets provide ultra heavy duty floor protection during construction. Sheets measure 48” x 96” and have support pockets designed for impact resistance. This unique design provides strong protection by spreading the weight of objects and machines evenly across the surface. The textured face promotes grip, reducing the risk of accidents. Reusable floor protection sheets resist warping, even when exposed to direct sunlight or external environments. Alpha Shield is lightweight, yet durable and easy to install on the job site. Sheets can be laid down fast and flat and seamed together using PE tape and seamer.
These 48in x 96in ultra-heavy-duty sheets are designed with support pockets, creating high-compression protection, spreading the load of objects and machinery across the
entire surface of the product. The textured face promotes grip to reduce the chances of accidents on the jobsite. The product’s formulation will allow the product to resist warping,
even when exposed to direct sunlight or external environments. Alpha Shield can be used for virtually any job. It is tough enough to withstand forklift and other jobsite machinery,
yet light enough to be used for vertical applications. Surface protector can be used to protect all types of flooring and surfaces. Alpha Shield is strong enough for heavy machinery and light enough for vertical use. Alpha Shield fabric-backed options are available for special order and promotes damage free surfaces (minimum quantities of 1 skid- lead time may vary).

How do I install Alpha Shield?
For floor applications, simply lay the floor protection sheets side by side on the floor and seam together with a strong tape like our PE Tape. the FR version should be taped with an FR tape. Alpha Shield is also lightweight enough to use for vertical applications. Place the sheet against the wall and secure in place with residue free tape. We suggest testing any tape you use in an inconspicuous place before installing.
What is Alpha Shield FR used for?
Alpha Shield FR is ideal for job sites that require heavy duty surface protection with flame retardant properties. This floor protection sheet is lightweight but heavy duty and can be used to cover floors and walls in medical buildings, labs, data centers and other job sites that require flame retardant materials.
Is there an FR version?
Yes, if you’re working at a healthcare facility, lab, data center or other jobsite that requires flame retardant materials, the FR option is tested and certified to meet UL-94 standards.
